George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is conveniently located approximately 22 miles north of downtown Houston. Directions to IAH may be found here. Maps of the terminals are found here.
A variety of ground transportation services are available to and from the Airport.
IAH also provides several parking options and Cell Phone Lots.

Pick up passengers outside the terminals, Baggage Claim/Arrivals Level
- Terminal A: north side, Door A-113
- Terminal B: north side, Door B-101
- Terminal C: north side, Door C-102
- Terminal D: Terminal E International Arrivals Hall*
- Terminal E: s outh side, Door 103B
- Follow signs to “Arrivals”
Parking is not permitted at terminal curbside.
*Note: International passengers who arrive at Terminal D will proceed through Customs & Immigration to the Terminal E international arrivals hall.
PRIVATE CARS - FOR ARRIVING PASSENGERS
Drivers picking up American Airlines and Spirit passengers please follow signage to South Terminal Rd. pick-up curb front.
Do not park at the curbside to wait for your passenger. Idle vehicles create congestion at the curbside and back up traffic.
Pick up – outside Baggage Claim/Arrivals Level
- Terminal A: North Side, Door A -113; South Side, Door A-115 (American and Spirit passengers)
- Terminal B: north side, Door B-101
- Terminal C: North side, Door C-102
- Terminal E: South side, Door E 103B
- Follow signs to “Ground Transportation”
- Exit through the doors marked “Passenger Pick-Up”
Drop off – All Terminals, Departures Level
CELL PHONE LOTS
Three Cell Phone Lots at IAH offer convenient locations to await passenger arrivals while easing traffic congestion around the terminals.

Cell Phone Lot on John F. Kennedy Boulevard

From Sam Houston Tollway
- From the Sam Houston Tollway, exit John F. Kennedy Boulevard and travel north.
- Take the Rankin Road exit and continue north on the access road through the four-way stop at Rankin Road.
- Follow signs to “Cell Phone Lot.”
- The Cell Phone Lot is on the right, just past the four-way stop.
Cell Phone Lot on Will Clayton Parkway

From U.S. 59 (I-69)
- From U.S. 59 (I-69), exit Will Clayton Parkway and travel west.
- Follow the signs to “Cell Phone Lot.”
- The Cell Phone Lot is on your right.
From Sam Houston Tollway
- From the Sam Houston Tollway, exit John F. Kennedy Boulevard and travel north.
- Follow signs to “Cell Phone Lot.”
- The Cell Phone Lot is on the right.
From Terminals A/B
- Follow signs marked “Airport Exit U.S. 59/ I-69
- Join Will Clayton Parkway traveling East, follow signs to “Cell Phone Lot”
- The cell phone lot will be on the right at 4500 Will Clayton Parkway
From Terminal C/D/E
- Follow signs marked “Airport Exit U.S.59/ I-69
- Join Will Clayton Parkway traveling East
- Following the Return to Terminal signage, turn left on Colonel Fisher, then left at the traffic light to proceed West bound on Will Clayton Parkway
- Follow signs to the “Cell Phone Lot”
- The cell phone lot will be on the right at 4500 Will Clayton Parkway
